You're right, this ISN'T the place for constructive criticism. Because this isn't a place for amateurs to submit their sketches and scribbles.
The few times I have offered CC to people it's blown off because they're not *actually* interested in getting better. They only want compliments and kind words. There's so much wrong with many of these there's nothing you can say that doesn't just tear it all down.
Start over. Draw from life. Use actual references when you draw. The anatomy of each and every character is lacking when they're not flat out awful.
Figure out a consistent light source and stick with it.
If you're going to "finish" a picture, use decent composition- it's extremely boring when you only have a single character on a blank background and they're right in the middle of the picture.
And you know what? Comments like this one get voted down and completely ignored simply because it's not what the "artist" wanted to hear. They don't really want to improve- they just want to keep doing what they're doing and receive sugary sweet words while they do it- and that's fine, but don't fucking dare call yourself an artist.

All of the artists here, maybe, not all of them everywhere. I hate that shit because it's completely counter-productive. Motivation comes from within and if you need an outside source to give it to you, you should probably just quit because you can't give that much of a damn to begin with.
I do despise it, but unfortunately there's no filter on this website for "Shitty Amateur Scribbles" that I can uncheck.

xfd @ Animan3d getting all pissy about this instead of trying to prove me wrong or even engaging in a meaningful conversation. Getting upset just goes on to prove you're too invested in what you draw and have no interest in improving. Have fun being a kid scribbling for the rest of your life, I'm sure you'll find no shortage of bootlickers.

All of the artists (including me) likes "sugary sweet words", it's a part of motivation.
As for their purpose about getting improved or not, that's their problem not yours.
Now if you despise this gallery, then stop coming here.

Then when people call you on being a d-bag YOU get "ALL PISSY". PLUS the images that get submitted to this site; my art (yes it is art by definition) is better than some of the stuff getting 5 stars. So what your saying about my stuff is totally your own opinion. You seem to think I'm delusional about my quality of work. I know I have a way to go, but you think that I think I'm already there. Which is your fault for assuming. And you know what happens when you assume. You make an ass out of u, and me (ass|u|me). Again it's pretty funny that you think I'm the one getting pissy when you where the instigator. But people like you just can't stand other people disagreeing with you. Also I don't have to prove anything to you. It's not like your a person who hires artist, or does quality control for this site. The main thing wrong with your comments is you have no tact. I did take some of what you said in your second rebuttal but your not entirely correct. But again I don't have to prove anything to anyone with my postings; especially on forums.
