It turns out hashdb is meant to work with a p2p app called winny. its a japanese app, but there is an english version. you can find out everything you need to know about it at its wikipedia page. there's also an english version linked there. unfortunately, i've installed winny, gone through a ton of figuring it out, and finally managed to search for metal k...no luck. it seems like the file just isn't on there any more. sorry i couldn't be of more help. at least i have a name now, i've been looking for that comic for years
