Maybe you mistook: "Y, yeah" for "Why, yeah" ?

EDIT: It's exactly what southrim said. I read some other group used that style and I must say I quite like it. However, since it stirred up some confusion, I'll return to the usual way starting next release. Thanks for the critics. Much appreciated :)

I'm fairly certain that the error is the comma instead of an em dash* at the end of the Y, not the Y itself. It seems like the intention was for the guy to stutter on the word 'yeah'. It's done with an H in the previous panel, and in later pages as well.

*If anyone asks what an em dash is instead of Googling it, may Snowflake rain wrath upon them.

edit: Her surname is given as Shiraishi on the first page and Akane as her first name on the panel in question.
