i swear every time i see a poorly made contour shaded gallery it makes me wonder...were the guys who made it drop outs from art school or are they just enthusiasts buying someone else s model and and importing it to other software like carrara or poser and then claiming it as their own...as for this particular gallery first gripe i is the contour shading they used it is very bland did they forget to add line weight and number of shader levels? that and the fact that their outlines end up showing allot of their errors in the geometry of the model... on that topic the model of the actual girl is...ok the hair is to stiff the eyes well are obviously spheres and where not properly modeled that and the fact that the reflection in the eye is a texture rather then an actually light refraction ...the dress is atrociously bad because either it was rigged with the actual under-body model which would cause allot of issues with the method they used for rigging like skinning or physique...or they dress cloth sim is messing up because the topology of the dress model was made wrong or not enough polys...as for the facial rig its simple i'll leave it at that...the textures well i keep noticing that it does not have 2 sided textures...could be an accident i'll give that to them...but besides that not much can be said stretched textures lack of bump maps specular maps etc... now i know this is a "stylized gallery" but it losses that strength because other stylized things have been done in the past already contour shading has been around for over 20 yrs this type of gallery is just bobbing between 3d and 2d and not in a good way...i know i should'nt have lashed out on this one gallery because there are much worse out there it just bugs me when people make this kind of stuff ...i mean my instructor would never accept this for a project based on its many flaws listed above. so over all i give it a 1 out of 5

As a little comment of my own. to the person who downloaded this set. i know that it may have been painful to have the last comment made. i dont think anyone wants the flaws of there work to be pointed out by anyone. but the last thing you should do is ingore what others may say about your work. even if it isnt postive, we dont expect your work to be perfect all that we expect is that you put it time and practice your art. then one day your have comments of how amazing it looks rather than comments pointing out the flaws.
