I have been following this series for quite a while now on Sling's blog, so I guess I'll do a review about it here.
Pink Shock is yet another reiteration of a gender-bendered Romance of the Three Kingdoms set in modern day Japan (remember Ikkitousen ?) though the one unique aspect is that the ahrem lead is ZHUGE LIANG. Yup, that's right, Zhuge Liang. STraight off the bat, he gets the three oath brothers(sisters ?), and, after a while Ma Chao. More surprising is when we find out that Cao Cao (a female version, that is), is his cholhood mate.
But barring the occasional reference aside, the humour is there. You havea yandere (played, unusually, by Zhang Fei), your set of twins (for twincests), the honourable warrior (Guan Yu, who else), and the ever-bossy Liu Bei whose goal of producing children to produce an army to take over the world is just too crazy to believe.
The hentai scenes are always quite well done. I recommend this series, especially for people who would like a different take on the Three Kingdoms era, and I do mean a different take.
