Really well done. What software and resources do you use?

Well done, even if it is not my kind of body type ;)

Futafan357 Hey mate thanks for the kind words! I used Daz3d for all the rendering of the poses, using the Zev0 stuff for getting her abs to show and that but mostly done with the stock stuff like the genesis body morphs and that, the images were processed in photoshop and colour corrected using lightroom. Hope that answered the question!

The following is just a critique (not hating), so please don't take it the wrong way... there's a lot of image noise in each of your renders - how long are you letting each of your images run for? It seems like they are low on the number of scans/cycles to eliminate the pixelation/noise. Your last couple of images suggest bump map settings that are cranked up way too high, so I was wondering if the grainy images was actually noise in the image, or your bump map settings being set too high while being blurred/pixelated by the focal length you have on your rendering camera. If you're just beginning, keep practicing... rendering is the hardest part of the process (IMO).

Hey mate, no offence taken! I really appreciate honest feedback!! Yeah the cycles I cut down all the wa because I haven't really got a beefy enough computer to let me render properly (2015 MacBook Pro) so I decided instead just to hide it by making it more like film grain? Yeah I can't stand rendering, the waiting for the image gets to me! Thanks again for the feedback I really appreciate it man

Yo guys so I've been messing around a bit with the models and here's what I have so far... Still looks grainy as my computer can't render things fully and I'm working on more realistic posing. Let me know what you think!!

Hey Busta, I see that you're still having some difficulty with grainy renders, but I'm glad you're still working on it... you only learn through experience. I'm not sure what internal components you have in your 2015 MBP, but I have the same model (w/maxed-out specs) and I've been able to render relatively noise/grain free images. You mentioned that you use DAZ - I use Poser Pro + the Reality 4 plugin for my renders. I too get grainy renders from time-to-time, but that's dependent on a couple of factors: 1) Not enough light in the scene (too dark), 2) Reflective material on objects with the glossiness cranked up too high, and 3) Not letting my render run through enough render cycles to eliminate the grain.

Since you have the 2015 MBP, I'm guessing you have an AMD graphics chip, so I'm not sure if you can use Iray in Daz, since Iray utilizes the CUDA cores in nVidia chips to handle gpu rendering. You may want to consider purchasing the Reality 4 plugin for DAZ. If you don't know about it, it's a physics-based renderer like Iray. The only drawback is that it utilizes Luxrender (included with the Reality 4 plugin), which is slow to render (compared to Iray). There have been recent improvements in speed, but it can't compare (IMO) to the speed of Iray... especially if you have monster nVidia graphic cards. It works well with my MBP, the only sacrifice for me is time - sometimes I have to let renders go for a whole 24 hours to get a nice clear image.

I have a page on Deviant Art, just search for my username which is the same as what I have here. If you like what you see, maybe you should consider picking up the Reality 4 plugin for DAZ. By the way, I'm not paid by them in any way, I just really love the plugin. I wish I could use Iray, but like you, I don't have the equipment or even the same program (I use Poser Pro) to make it happen, so Reality 4 is the next best thing (IMHO).

hey 75oroboy, thanks heaps mate, yeah a factor for me is definitely that I can't wait for the render to be finished just to see how it turns out hahaha, as I'm still testing the waters. Once I figure out a nice workflow I'll probably begin rendering properly and waiting longer to get clearer images, this is just a record of what i've been doing. Cheers for the advice! I'll definitely check out your page and that plugin. thanks so much man! Oh yeah, also my MBP is one down from the max spec so only intel card :( i'll make do though haha. cheers again!
